FAQ

What type of shredding services do you offer?

We offer only secure, on-site shredding. This can be either a regularly scheduled service or a one time purge.

How does on site shredding work ?

With on-site shredding, all your confidential materials are shredded at your location on our modern, efficient mobile shredding trucks.

Are we able to witness the shredding process?

Yes. You can witness the on-site shredding of your materials via the video monitor located on the side of the truck.

Why don’t you offer plant-based shredding?

There are too many risks associated with the transportation of confidential materials back to a plant for shredding. After your confidential documents leave your location, you have no way of knowing for sure what actually happens to them…or who may have access to them.

What other materials can you destroy ?

We routinely destroy books, binders, CDs, plastics, magnetic or optical media and fabrics. Also there is no need to remove staples or paper clips.

Why should I use a shredding service instead of our office shredder?

When you consider employee wages and benefits, then factor in depreciation and maintenance costs on your shredder, it may be more cost effective to use a shredding service.

Why can’t I just use a recycler for expired documents?

For security reasons. Most recyclers do not shred your confidential information. Instead, they transport documents overseas, where they are vulnerable to unauthorized access. We recycle 100% of your documents after they are destroyed.

How often will you service our facility?

As often as necessary. We will consult with you and determine the required service It may be weekly, bi weekly or monthly. We will then monitor the volume to make any necessary adjustments to fit your needs for shredding services.

What types of security containers do you provide?

We offer a 95 gallon, a 64 gallon plastic bins and a 32 gallon executive console.

Do you charge for the security containers?

If you choose our regularly scheduled shredding services option, then we will provide security containers to you at no cost.

Do you offer any documentation that our materials have been shredded?

Yes. Once your documents have been shredded we issue you a Certificate of Destruction for your records.
